Michael joined the Wholey Poitras Group in 2020 and brings a strong analytical foundation and thoughtful approach to his work with clients. He began his career at Baird as an intern in 2017 and returned full-time in 2019 as a participant in Baird’s Financial Advisor Foundations Program in Milwaukee. Michael earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, where he also completed minors in actuarial science and studio art—an uncommon combination that reflects both his quantitative skills and creative perspective. He earned his CFP® designation in June 2021.
Originally from LaGrange, Illinois, Michael now resides in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood with his wife, Chloe, and their dog, Wilson. Outside of the office, he enjoys restoring and working on old vehicles, fishing, golfing, skiing, and participating in clay sports. In the spring, Michael coaches freshman baseball at Fenwick High School alongside his father, continuing a long-standing family connection to the program.
